Flight to Dubai

I did this watercolour in the Cairo airport while waiting for my connection to Dubai. I used a waterbrush. I have to say it is a fantastic tool. Specially if your travelling and can’t carry a bottle of water.

I travel with Egypt air. That was the first time in my life with them. It was a confortable flight. The cool thing is that they got this Catania-Dubai conection so I didn’t have to flight to Rome, Frankfurt or any other city in the wrong direction.

So far the first thing that impact me in my trip is the colour the sunset gets here in the desert…the sand and the sun make everythig under a red light.

I should have posted this a few weeks ago, but I have had some problems settling down and finding a scanner. Also Flickr is banned in the Emirates. So I couldn’t access to the site or participated in any discussion in the urban sketcher group.
