Palace Museum Al Ain

This used to be the old Palace from Sheikh Zayed, the first president from the Emirates. The building complex is a mix of diferent styles mostly used in the fortification architecture, but here just are use as decorative elements. Now is a museum. Inside you can see many pictures of the late Sheikh Zayed.
I took the liberty to sketch the entrance without the big red sign with the name over the gate.. Is uggly… more appropiate to a mall rather that an important building…the historistic street lights don’t match with the architecture either.. (that was the little architect inside me..hehehe)
