You can call it my off day. I have been teaching for the last 3 days so today, which is a Friday, I am gonna give myself a break. So I happened to be at a neighbourhood stationery store in Bukit Merah and bought a book keeping notebook. One which is not too thick and big so I could carry it around without too much trouble. It cost only about US1.50. I would have a lot of fun sketching on this notebook, just like Lapin. So I scoot over to town and did the following sketches at Waterloo street and South Bridge Road.

These are results of about 3.5 hours of sketching in several locations including traveling time. The key is to have fun and not worry about structure, perspective and order. Putting fun back into the equation is so liberal I just wish I could continue the entire day, but my stomach growls for attention eventually. 😛
