Overcast and Curious

I find that my many of my most interesting drawings are more about questions than answers. Investigative drawing.

On an overcast day recently, I walked to a nearby millpond to revisit a tiny building that I can’t quite explain. It sits abandoned and alone. A peek inside seems to suggest that it’s an old pump house, perhaps associated with a mill that no longer exists. After all, Winchester was, at one point, a busy tanning town.
