Memories from the symposium

Lisbon, Largo Luis de Camoes

After a week, I think we all participants at the Urban Sketches symposium are starting to calm down, put in order lots of ideas and learnings… and treasure wonderful memories from these intense three days at Lisbon. I have been tempted to write a post on the subject before, but the overwhelming experience was too close. Some other friends that were also present there have already written better lines, so I would just also thank the organizers and volunteers that every detail was so well planned, and making this dream real; and the instructors for their dedication and all they taught us. Definitely, after these days, nothing remains the same in one’s way of drawing…

Lisbon, Rua do Sao Paulo

And, oh well, Lisbon is such a beautiful city, with a strong personality…

Flight Málaga to Lisbon

I’d like to finish with a personal anecdote. I was surprised to find that my flight from Málaga to Lisbon is operated by this small planes, only 19-seat, twin propeller aircraft. It was fun to draw the pilot’s cabin as there was no door separating it from the passenger’s room!
