Goodbye Lisbon

Goodbye Lisbon

This is my last sketch made in Lisbon. I sat on my bed at Shiado Hostel & looking out through the window that morning. Always nice to be greeted by this intense blue sky. On the left of this sketch is a little momento/note left behind by Jason Das, my roommate for 2 nights before he left for Sintra. Jason, you are an awesome guy.

Late night sketching @ Brasileira Do Chiado

All of us will remember the the Cafe Brasileira Do Chiado which is next to Hotel Borgese. This sketch was finished at 1.35am on the last day of the symposium. Never have I sketched so late into the night. We lingered on way past midnight, still sketching & chatting. I did not want it to end but was way too tired and had to head back to my room & crash. It was wonderful to be with Liz, Pete, Penghui & Ea’s very funny husband Reza. Apparently they stayed behind & started a sketch-off with the spanish sketchers!
