impression of istanbul

A quick impression of the Old City in Istanbul, as sketched hurriedly from the edge of a moving ferry boat to Asia. I am fortunate to have a brand-new scanner and seven Italian sketchers visiting— we plan to hike out to the old wall of Constantinople today, and hope to wander through neighbourhoods less explored. Stay tuned!
