This was my third visit back to Kampong Glam, a little town with so much middle eastern culture that has been thriving over the years. I decided to drive there early in the morning before the hustle and bustle starts. I parked my car in a parking lot overlooking the angle that I wanted to sketch, and sat right next to the car on the adjacent parking lot, knowing for sure when the street gets busy, someone would be wanting to drive over me to take up the parking space.

I have been experimenting with watercolor recently to finding out a different color palette for myself, trying out triadic grays to see how it works. Lotsa things to learn. 😀 Every colored sketch here took about 40mins… when the sun got too hot, I was about to go.. spending about 2 hours on location.
