A new pub opened in Davis recently, a popular Irish pub called De Vere’s. I went in there a few days after the grand opening, found a spot in the middle of the packed bar, got a beer and started sketching away. This whole thing took about two and a half beers. The beer was nice, a local Sudwerk ‘Aggie’ Lager, and the atmosphere was friendly. I think I’ll go back sometime to sketch some more.
