at bookstores along Jongno street

at Kyobo bookstore, one of the largest bookstore, which locates at Gwanghwamun, center of Seoul. Sketched on 2011.

at Youngpoong bookstore, one of the largest bookstores, which locates at Jongno 1-ga, maybe ca. 500 meters off from Kyobo bookstore. Young couple and cute dogs caught my eye. Sketched on 2008.

the pretty dog in bag

at Aladdin secondhand bookstore located near Jongno 2-ga, ca. 500 meters far from Youngpoong bookstore. This bookstore located in basement floor, and was busy with readers. I could sketch sitting on the steps installed for readers. Sketched on 2012.

An old man was reading book at Kyobo bookstore today.

These days I go to bookstores for sketching not for reading books due to bad eyesight. I just like to be in bookstore remembering the old days when I had been reading and buying books for children and myself. But sketching the atmosphere gives delight too.
