Casa Biester

Casa Biester
Casa Biester (1890, arch José Luís Monteiro) is a beautiful mysterious house.
It sits behind a high wall on a densely forested hill in Sintra.
It has been used for shooting the “The Ninth Gate” (Polansky) but it was almost an invasion because, since my youth, I believe I glimpsed Dorian Gray, on one of the top windows.
Later, other neo gothic or neo romantic buildings where born nearby, such as this one.
