Sausenburg ruins

Sausenburg ruins

We took our students up to Sausenburg castle ruins yesterday for cooking hotdogs over an open fire and seeing the view. From the tower you can see where Germany meets France and Switzerland. This is a special spot for me, with so many memories I couldn’t count, including once finding a cannonball buried near this castle, probably dating back to the late 17th century.
