Würzburger Residenz

I’m in Germany this week for my brothers wedding. He lives in Wurzberg, and I have to say the whole town is spectacular. This is the Wurzberg Residenze, the palace of the prince-bishops of Wurzberg, when they decided to move down the hill from their castle into the town. This place is amazing (move over Palace of Versailles I reckon) and impossible to capture in one quick sketch. I drew the Garden Facade on a very hot summers day, the ideal antidote to a very wet Auckland winter!
