Asilah Envy

I was green with envy, soaking up the drawings and stories from Inma and Isabel abotu Asilah, Morocco, a small town that is near and dear to me. I first visited in 1997, when few knew about this little gem. The small streets were quiet with the everydays lives of those who lived there. The smell of the sea was always close and the rituals provided a window into a world that was all at once magical and very different to me. Like most undiscovered treasures, they soon become uncovered and Asilah now is host to a world class arts festival. I am posting a few memories.
