I was a lucky one who was born in the land where the king played saxophone and led a small jazz band aired over a public radio every Friday evening from the station in one of the palaces. King Bhumibol, Rama IV of the present Chakri dynasty, composed 48 songs in total, the first song was on the year I was born!
In mid September, I attended a concert playing some of his favorite composition on the auspicious occasion of HM the King’s 84th birthday anniversary performed by the Bangkok Pro Musica Orchestra at the Siam Society.
From my seat somewhere not far from the stage, I did several sketches on my Galaxy Note. I realised that the cell phone screen was reasonably bright but fortunately it was not noticeable in the relatively bright general lighting condition. And thanks to the smallish size of the NOTE (5.3″ screen, I think), I got away with the very enjoyable music + joy of sketching them!

It is plain that digital sketching may not be for every body, meaning not every one would like the idea, not that they can’t do it. But after a while now, I enjoy some advantage and features that come with it. For example, the colored background, variable color brush that change color automatically on each stroke or the rainbow color that change colors along the lenght of a single line, just to name a few, as they said!

I thought it was not a bad idea that I should be able to do digital sketches, compose and upload them immediately on a blog in cyber space without having to scan the original:-) But, don’t take me too seriously though.
And BTW, here I go, can someone tell me how to do that? How do I send a photo or a sketch from handphone up to USk.org directly, please.
Thanks and cheers to all.
