President Obama Inauguration

Yesterday was the inauguration of President Obama’s second term in office as President of the United States. No matter what your party affiliation, there is something about the Inaugural ceremonies that gives pride. Of course, it didn’t hurt that I am happy to see President Obama in for a second term.

I was not fortunate enough to attend the ceremony in Washington DC, but I did make this drawing of the Capitol Building one foggy day last weekend, while the rehearsal for the inauguration was taking place. Wonderful music, and much marching around of ushers and stand-ins. It was fun to be there for it!
