In a town, I like to draw contrasts. Buildings from different ages have a different look. In a drawing, with the stroke, with the colour, you can emphazise the contrasts. In Liège, where I live, new urbanistic regulations, in the sixties, have permitted to build higher. Many beautiful old houses from the XIXth Century were destoyed and replaced with new apartments.
