A Fantastic Time in Barcelona

I am still on a “high” from the Barcelona experience…it was a great Symposium, and I’m grateful to all who dedicated so much time and effort to ensuring its success.  I’m grateful as well to the workshop teachers I directly learned so much from–Sagar, Miguel, Tia and Paul–and to all the instructors and sketchers I interacted with–you inspired me.  Most of all, I’m grateful to all of you who attended my “Life Between Buildings” workshops–you made the workshops a success with your great attitudes, laughter and wonderful drawings.  I look forward to seeing you all again.

The sketch of the Sagrada Familia above was drawn on our first afternoon in Barcelona; I deliberately waited until after my workshops to add color.  I think you can see I was influenced in a good way by many wonderful artists.  Until we meet again…
