Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) is located in the center of Korea’s trendy Dongdaemun fashion district. DDP was designed by Zaha Hadid, the world’s architect, and opened on March 21, 2014. It will serve as a key venue for design-related shows and conferences, exhibitions, and other events and gatherings. The external appearance of DDP is beyond anyone’s expectation. That looks like a fantastic spaceship with free-flowing curved forms. Recently, I used to sketch this attractive subject several times while under construction, and always impressed by the powerful, curving forms of gigantic buildings.

Last Saturday, I sketched the atypical forms of elongated structures in many points with Seoul usk members.
