Capitol Restoration

By Christian Tribastone in Washington DC, USA

Capitol Building Scaffolding

The Capitol Building is currently going through a Restoration, meaning the Dome is engulfed in scaffolding and shall likely remain that way for quite a while as the Architects of the Capitol do their work.

I’m sure there is some obvious metaphor to be had here, as the building (in need of obvious repair) is of course the home of US Senate and House of Representatives.  Two collections of politicians that have embarrassingly low approval ratings, and even less impressive record of accomplishment, that are also in obvious need of repair.

Not to get overly political here, but you know…  please go vote Tuesday.
