Urban Sketchers Symposium 2015 Day Minus 2 (22 July 2015)

This was drawn in the morning during the meeting for the Urban Sketchers Symposium that will be happening in two day’s time. Exciting. We have Jason Das and Orling Dominguez who joined us.

This was drawn later in the afternoon inside a cafe to escape the hot and humid weather. On the left is Juliette Plisson whom I met during the USK Symposium at Barcelona in 2013. It’s always nice to meet sketcher friends from other countries.

A few more sketchers have arrived. I learned from Liz Steel that the Australian group has arrived and they were sketching at Gardens by the Bay in the morning.

Nina Johansson has also arrived, after a 26 hour journey. The longest journey I heard so far is 76 hours if I remember correctly. Oh my gosh! Hong Kong sketchers would be arriving tomorrow, one day before the symposium.

Here’s a short video made at the cafe before I had to rush off to work. I’ll make longer ones during the symposium when I’ll have more time.
