kids in shops

Last month I went to beauty shop for perm. There a girl with pink clothing came with her mother, hair artist. She was shy and kept quiet playing with her small toys in her bag. After I had my hair permed I began to talk to her “Do I draw you?” She liked. And I asked her to write her name before I started adding words “I’ll give you this notebook after I draw you!”. She was pleased. And I showed it to her and asked her “Will you draw too?” She agreed at once. She seemed to be friendly. She kept ‘sketching’ things in room and her mother. Regretfully I forgot to take photos of her lovely drawings. But you may be able to imagine. Drawing could be a good tool to communicate with people.

In 8th floor of E Mart, Eunpyeong branch in Seoul there is a kids’ cafe where kids can play with various kinds of toys with their parents or guiders. And passengers can see through the pane glass how they play with fun. Capturing them was not easy for they move in flashes. But sometimes they concentrate on one thing keeping same poses. 

Bright colors and interesting toys were attractive subjects for sketch.
