Back home for Chinese Lunar New Year

【by Teo Cheng Huat, Beijing, China]

Got back to Singapore for Chinese Lunar new year for a few days. Both me and my wife went for our yearly medical check up at the hospital. in order to have a complete body check up, we need to be admitted for a day to check on numerous things. Upon admission, they will take our blood , urine and stool for testing. Then the  next day, we will have other test like OSD & Colonoscopy procedure in the morning.

Nice view from our room , I can see some old streets and lanes like Owen rand Rangoon road. Remember there is lots of good old Singapore food in these areas when I was young. Lots of old houses are gone now and I can see many pieces of empty land parcels waiting for sale by the government. Meanwhile lots of time to sketch, wishing everyone a happy new year and a Year of the ROOSTER!
