From Logroño to Salamanca

[By Eduardo Salavisa in Spain] I have never been to Logroño and I only went there because of my friend Javier de Blas, that lives there. But, what a surprise, it’s a lovely city, peacefully (like Javier) and very pleasant to live there. Javier and Charon (his wife) walk Frida (the family dog and, yes, the name comes from Frida Kahlo) (first drawing) in a lovely wild garden near Ebro river . We got together one day with a group of locals’ sketchers and it was a lovely afternoon (second drawing).

I went after to Salamanca where I had another wonderful surprise: an exhibition of Miquel Barceló in five different places. Barceló I some of my favourite painters and has wonderful sketchbooks of his travels. In Salamanca there were two galleries that showed two-dimensional works and three spaces with Public Art (third, fourth and fifth drawing).
Amazing!
