I became a cycle sketcher to capture autumn color

While there are some who sketch behind the wheel or on the passengers seat with nice warmth, I, today, sketched while mounting on the saddle. That was my new attempt to have higher eye level than sit on the portable stool, kept things in the front basket, held sketchbook to stay still on top of the handlebar… Actually it was not that ideal style, at least I could have had more adjusting equipments or much clever customization… Hope someone invent sketchers-friendly-bicycle someday. Then let’s go SketchCycle, not SketchWalk.

Whenever I tried to capture the nature, I wanted to illustrate the scene realistically but I almost always ended up going kind of impressionistic or something…
