Last Christmas

[By Lis Watkins in London] London looks particularly pretty
at the moment with lots of wonderful lights in the streets and carefully
arranged festive displays in the shop windows. I drew the ice skaters and their
waiting friends at the Somerset House ice rink last Friday, moonlighting with
the Café Sketchers Meet Up group.

Apparently this will be the UK’s last Christmas as part of the
European Union. I’m really sad about this.

It’s good to know that I can still be part of the wider Urban
Sketchers community and I send best wishes to you for a happy and peaceful holiday
season.
