This June, I will bid farewell to Shenzhen—the city I have called home for five years.
Shenzhen is young, with a history of just over forty years. Modern architecture fills the cityscape.

Yet, tucked away in her corners lie echoes of history: such as this ancient, Lingnan-style castle gate, nestled in Shenzhen’s Pingshan District, where time seems suspended within its walls

(A Corner Inside the Castle Sketch); and art-infused ancient villages
(Shenzhen E Di Xia Village Sketch).
There are also streets ablaze with European colors.
(Sketch in European style Street at Shenzhen “Window of the World” park), and crowded urban villages that cradle the dreams of countless newcomers ,this is the first station for young people when the frist visit Shenzhen.

Then there’s my favorite—the fishing harbor, serene yet brimming with authentic life.
(Shekou Fishing Boat Pier Sketch).
This is Shenzhen: a multi-faceted, endlessly vibrant city! I warmly invite sketchers from around the world to come and immortalize her unique charm!
