Train is the best place for drawing people. I always enjoy Lynne Chapman’s “on the train” portraits and many more who draw on the train. Commuters are patience models who sometimes are kind and stand in front of you for 20 minutes or sometimes less and this uncertainty forces your speed’s drawing. Day sleepers are the most enjoyable models, after the smartphones’ junkies. While I draw on the train I can’t avoid that my mind starts to make up stories about people’s life, with plenty of drama or happiness, it depends on their faces appearance.
