Locomotive with Curvilinear Perspective

[By T.K. Justin Ng in Vancouver, Canada]

Located at the heart of Vancouver’s Yaletown, the Roundhouse Community Centre houses Engine 374, the first transcontinental passenger train to arrive in Vancouver way back in 1887.

It is always nice to see other people sketching. When I am sketching with other people, it is not so much about the drawing anymore but a good conversation.

I sat quite close to the front of the train so it was hard to capture everything around me with a one-point perspective. By bending the perspective, I am able to push in a couple more columns and fit in the entire train.
