USk Travel Hub

Planning to travel to New Zealand pre or post USk Symposium 2023, but you’d rather not go solo? You could meet your new future travel buddies at USk Travel Hub on Facebook!

USk Travel Hub is a community-driven group openly sharing links and personal experiences.  

Like in the past years, we have a dedicated Facebook group to support sketchers who are traveling to the International USk Symposium in Auckland, New Zealand next year. This time, the USk Travel Hub will remain open and active after the Symposium. 

The group will continue to support travelers who are going to the next Symposiums and future USk events. It intends to keep our wide, diverse community connected and the useful information growing from past travels in one place.

Wondering what clothes to bring, if you need a visa, where best to get flights or what accommodation is available for your trip to the USk event?  These are questions the group may be able to assist in.  And if you know some exciting getaways, travel hacks or answers to some posted questions, share them. Someone may find them inspiring and valuable.  

Please keep in mind that all shared advice is provided in good faith. Consequences from decisions made are the sole responsibility of the respective traveler. All shared suggestions are content from our group members, not direct views or recommendations from the Urban Sketchers organization. 

Now that it’s been possible to travel and sketch together again, it’s time to dust off luggages and get passports ready!
