Toulouse 2026: Let’s Be Thoughtful Guests

One of the best things about urban sketching is that it invites us into the everyday life of a place.

As we explore Toulouse together, let’s be thoughtful guests.

If you sketch in or around churches, please be mindful of services, prayer, local customs, and any dress guidelines.

As you sit down to sketch or gather to enjoy these spaces, please keep entrances, walkways, and access points clear so everyone can continue to use them comfortably. The same courtesy goes for cafés, shops, and local businesses, where a little awareness goes a long way.

Here are beautiful places to sketch across the city. They’re a chance to discover more of Toulouse, find a shady spot, spread out, and help keep places from becoming overcrowded.

As we capture and reveal Toulouse one sketch a time, let’s show our appreciation in every way for this beautiful city

Another Hub update to consider as high winds / storms are forecast Wednesday and Thursday – many beautiful green spaces to enjoy – at this time of year parks are usually open until 9pm https://metropole.toulouse.fr/mon-environnement/nature-et-climat/nature-en-ville/parcs-et-jardins – if storms or high winds are forecast they may temporarily close early or completely. Friday and Saturday look good days for park sketching !
